This is a color measuring instrument for petroleum products used to measure liquid colors of petroleum oil and greases. It has the equivalent function as that of a colormeter, and its measurements are made according to such industrial standards as JIS, ASTM and ISO. So, highly reliable and accurate color evaluation of your oil samples will be made possible. Measurements by this model are traceable to the standard color liquids specified by the relating industrial standards, the data of which have been saved into a memory of this instrument as such standard color data. Inconvenient calibration using a standard color plate is not needed accordingly, and everyone can use this model so easily.
Colors of petroleum oilsa and greases are explicitly displayed with the values corresponding to the JIS (or ASTM, etc.).
Thanks to its compact all-in-one type design with user-friendly operation, you will be able to install it anywhere.
By adoption of unique compensation circuit, stable data of measurements can be obtained even for long hours of use.
It is possible to measure Saybolt color, ASTM color, Harzen color number (APHA) and Gardner color.
Measurement using a test tube is also possible in option.
