This gloss meter is suitable for quality management for paper, metal plate, plastics, vinyl and glass which have gloss. The light source is white LED, which is long lived and makes it possible to measure the sample simultaneously at the five angles 20º, 45º, 60º, 75º and 85º.
The measurement angles can be seen at a glance, thanks to the
LED lamp at the full-height panel in the body.
The foot switch is the standard equipment.
In accordance with ISO 8254-1 and JIS P 8142, "Paper and Board Measurement of specular gloss" Part 1 : 75 degree gloss with a converging beam, TAPPI method.
In accordance with ISO 8254-3, "Paper and Board Measurement of specular gloss" Part 3 : 20 degree gloss with a converging beam, TAPPI method.
In accordance with JIS Z 8741, 20 degree gloss with a parallel beam.
